Cozy Classics has been reviewed by children’s specialist booksellers and chosen to be included in the Australian Booksellers Association‘s 2012-2013 Kids’ Reading Guide, a selection of what is considered the best children’s titles published within the year. The Kids’ Reading Guide is sent to all book retailers in Australia.
Cozy Classics is honoured to share a page in the Guide with British writers / illustrators David Melling and Anna Hymas. We have recently become friends with David on Twitter, so it is only fitting to find ourselves side-by-side in the Guide (see page below).
Other notable picture book authors and illustrators featured in the Guide include Oliver Jeffers (This Moose Belongs to Me), Ian Falconer (Olivia and the Fairy Princesses), Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler (Superworm), Jon Klassen (This is Not My Hat), and William Joyce (The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore). These are some of our — and our kids’ — absolute favorite children’s authors and illustrators, so it is a tremendous thrill for us that Cozy Classics has been recommended in the same breath Down Under!
